How to help BP oil spill cleanup? Stay home. Let locals do it.
The drive for volunteers to help with the BP oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico is focusing almost exclusively on local residents. They need the work (which is sometimes paid) and housing people from other parts of the country is complicated and expensive for relief groups.
so i just thought you guys should know that i thought this was lame. it was there fuck up and bp should get the bill for the housing of poeple who want to come help save the animals and clean up the water. If people wanna help fix the mess bp made there should be encouraged not told to stay home.

ReplyDeleteSigh.. Oil spills are such a tragedy.. Such a huge loss of natural life. Hopefully another big thing like this doesn't happen again, at least for a long while. BP need to update their countermeasures.
